Hillside Homes is proud, honored and humbled to successfully help raise $1,500,000 with the St Jude Dream Home! This event sold out all 15,000 available tickets at $100 each for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. One hundred percent of the proceeds were donated to St. Jude, which works around the clock to develop cures to save the lives of boys and girls, including children in the Williamson County and Nashville areas.
The 2013 St Jude Dream home, built by major donor Hillside Homes was given away to lucky winner Susan Thackeray. She was selected in a random drawing and won the beautiful new home located in The Highlands at Ladd Park, located in Franklin, TN. The St. Jude Dream Home valued at approximately $580,000. This 4 bedroom, 3 full baths, 2 half bath home approximately 4,000 square feet with barrel vaulted ceiling, iron entry front doors and hand scraped hardwood flooring was given away during a live television broadcast on WZTV FOX 17!
Hillside Homes was also given the "Zero Hero" award and was the only Nashville dream home builder and one of only a few builders nationally who donated a Dream Home at zero dollars. Zero cost means that all of the proceeds from the ticket sales and additional donations directly benefit St Jude’s Children Hospital. Instead of using a portion of the proceeds for the dream home construction.
Hillside Homes combined their contribution and efforts with the generous help of our sponsors and trade partners who donate their time, labor and resources to build this Hillside Home with the goal of raising money for this important cause. Without everyones support this would not have been possible to be such a great success!
Our company is deeply rooted in the Williamson County area and gives our time and resources to the community whenever possible. We believe in our responsibility to help others and we feel privileged to be able to help such an important cause. We are forever inspired that our community comes together to show their support, we are appreciative of everyone who contributed their hard-earned dollars to purchase a ticket. Every dollar helps children with cancer survive and live beautiful lives!
